This Sunday is Mountain and Cave Rescue awareness day. It's also the day the clocks go back in the UK, which means it's a great opportunity to remind everyone that it will get dark earlier. If you're out and about in the hills remember to take a torch and spare batteries.

    Words can not convey the debt of gratitude owed to so many. So to all those who died fighting to protect their loved ones, those who served, those who still serve, and in peace time for all our domestic services of Police, Fire, Ambulance, Coastguard, Mountain Rescue, Doctors (Junior and Senior!), Nurses, Carers, First Responders, Charity workers, and all those who sacrifice even a small amount to improve or protect the lives of others... "Thank you".

        CALLOUT: Missing Walker

        Lego Mountain Rescue Team. Night Search
        CALLOUT: The team have spent the night searching for a missing person. A walker had not returned home in the early evening, so the team were tasked to search a woodland thought to be on the route taken by the walker. The missing person was located by the team having fallen down a steep slope. 

        A very familiar story for many Mountain Rescue Teams.
